Walk in Meaning

The Royal Step Collection is a homage to the Adinkra symbols of the Ashanti (Asante) people of Ghana — centuries of philosophy, pressed in gold thread. Gold is the metal of Ashanti royalty. We don’t print patterns. We wear meaning.

Four Symbols. Four Philosophies.

Every symbol in this collection carries weight. Know what you wear. Each design is built on an Adinkra symbol of the Ashanti people — a visual language of proverbs, values, and law that has spoken for generations.

GYE NYAME

“Except for God” — the omnipotence and supremacy of God. The most recognised of all Adinkra symbols: a reminder that no power stands above the Almighty.
Wear it when: your faith is unshakeable.

SANKOFA

The bird turning back. “Go back and get it” — learn from the past to build the future. Progress without roots is drift.
Wear it when: you build on where you came from.

FUNTUNFUNEFU DENKYEMFUNEFU

Two crocodiles sharing one stomach. “Unity in diversity” — cooperation and shared destiny. Different paths, one table.
Wear it when: you move with your people.

DUAFE

The wooden comb. “Beauty and care” — the discipline of self-care and presentation. Looking sharp is a practice, not an accident.
Wear it when: how you show up matters.

The Craft

Gold symbols on rich, deep colorways — maroon, black, olive, grey. The Adinkra are woven into the thread itself, not printed on top, so the meaning sits in the fabric and never fades. This is dress-sock polish with a story stitched in.

Worn With Meaning

From the boardroom to the street — meaning you can wear.

From the Founder

I carry Ashanti blood, and this collection is personal. The Royal Step Collection is homage, not appropriation — created with deep respect for the Akan people of Ghana and full credit to their living tradition. These are my ancestors’ philosophies. I simply put them where the world can see them: on your feet.

Be First When It Drops
