Steps With Purpose

Basiq Steps Apparel was built on a simple conviction: a man is measured by how he carries himself — in his craft, in his character, and in what he gives back.

In memory of my father, who passed away in October 2025 after his fight with prostate cancer and glaucoma, I started Steps With Purpose — our give-back program. “Asubonteng” means “rivers” in Twi, the language of the Ashanti people — and like rivers, a father’s legacy flows onward: from him, through his son, to every step we take.

The Pledge

Five percent of every order is donated to ZERO Prostate Cancer — to improve and save lives from prostate cancer through advocacy, awareness, education, and support. No fine print. No exceptions.

How It Works

• 5% of every completed order is set aside for the program.
• Funds are donated quarterly to ZERO Prostate Cancer (headquartered in Alexandria, VA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — the charity we support.
• Every donation receipt is posted on this page, so every dollar is accounted for.
